Writers are generous people.

They're eager to share their thoughts and visions.

Writers are inventive people.

They're not afraid to push the envelope.

Writers give you the benefit of the doubt.

They strive to keep an open mind.

Writers are the ultimate tour guides.

They take you to places you've never been before.

Let me kindle your imagination.

I am a writer.

C. A. Pack is the author of the Library of Illumination series of YA paranormal fantasy novelettes, novellas and novels including Chronicles: The Library of Illumination (2014), the Second Chronicles of Illumination (2015), the Third Chronicles of Illumination (2017), and the Fourth Chronicles of Illumination (2018).

Pack also writes for a general audience. Her first novel,
Code Name: Evangeline—is an historical spy thriller which takes place in the 1930's. The author followed it up with Evangeline's Ghost—a fantasy about the death of that same spy and Evangeline's Ghost: Houdini.

Pack is an award-winning journalist from New York who worked as an anchor/reporter and educator (she considers herself the fairy-godmother of television news reporters around the world)—and has written for WNBC,
LI News Tonight and News 12 Long Island. In addition, she has worked on PBS documentaries, radio and television commercials and created and produced a pilot for a news show focusing solely on marriage and wedding trends.

Pack also writes non-fiction, and is co-author of
Over-Sixty: Shades of Gray, an entertaining, yet informative look at the aging process. She came up with the idea for Mind Games & Soporifics, a puzzle/coloring book for people over sixty. And she and her co-author have spoken at numerous venues about their books and the journey through life’s later years on the road to fossilization.

She is a past president of the Press Club of Long Island and a proud member of Independent Book Publishers Association, International Thriller Writers and Sisters in Crime. Pack has been a speaker/panelist for organizations such as Women in Communications, Fair Media Council, and the Society of Professional Journalists.

The author lives with her husband, Andrew, and a picky parrot who loves to play peek-a-boo, in Long Island, NY.
