Herb Agracite Romantica is a realm ruled by the female of the species, and where men, for the most part, are docile. Most Romanticans are highly educated, philosophical, and highly creative thinkers who would rather resort to an intellectual dispute rather than one requiring weapons.
The Romanticans have a highly developed sense of style, embracing soft fluid fabrics, beautiful colors, and diaphanous layers. Their housing is picturesque, the parklands lush, and crime is nearly non-existent. Their education system is highly developed and most Romanticans have extensive educational credits in parliamentary procedure, philosophy, history, medicine, fine art, and music. They are also masters of botany, biology, and behavioral arts and make fine teachers.
The most controversial ruling ever made in the realm involved inviting a grand master from Inspiracon to train a young Romanticans in military tactics, which they were inducted into for a five year period upon coming of age. Only the Romantican High Council of Five exceeded the standing army in age. However, due to Romanticans penchant for battling with their wits rather than weapons, the standing army’s most common task was to parade and provide pomp during affairs of state. The army was founded following the Two Millennia War when the Romantican population was nearly wiped out and soldiers are taught to “kill” as a matter of last resort.
